About
Marcia Plasters

Hello! I'm Marcia Plasters, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Board Certified Coach (BCC). I recently "retired" from a 30 plus year career as a therapist on an inpatient psychiatric unit for adults and an outpatient mental health center. However, my desire and passion to continue making a positive difference in the world is ever present - this, along with my entrepreneurial spirit, culminated in launching my private practice, Westview Counseling, Coaching & Consulting PLLC. I love the experience of connecting with my clients in a way that makes them feel visible, seen, heard and understood and to watch them heal, grow and transform into the person they desire.
I'm also a proud mom who loves to travel, experience adventure, be in nature, hang out with family and friends, listen to music, play the piano, create, write and play with my awesome cat. I've experienced much joy, sorrow, success, and failure - as is the human condition - all of which contribute to understanding, empathy, wisdom, and insight I bring to my clients to assist in their healing, growth and success.

I'm a big believer in the incredible power of the therapeutic relationship between a therapist and client. Creating a space of emotional safety and trust where a person feels free to say what's on their mind and in their heart without fear of judgement is priority. It is in this environment that a person can explore, learn, grow and make positive change.
