Rates

Private Pay: Some prefer not to use their insurance for various reasons or do not have insurance with mental health benefits. Please contact me for private pay rates for the initial visit and subsequent 50 min individual therapy sessions.

Sessions are provided either via telephone or a HIPPA compliant video platform.

Insurance
​
I currently accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL (PPO plans), Cigna, Health Alliance (not HMO), HealthLink and Live 360/HSHS. Other insurance plans pending - please contact me for updates. If your insurance plan is not listed here, I am happy to provide billing statements so you can submit them to your insurance for reimbursement. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. Please check your coverage by contacting your insurance company with the following questions:
* Do I have teletherapy/telemental health benefits? Video and/or Telephone?
* What is the co-pay and deductible? Have I met my deductible?
* How many sessions per year does my insurance cover?
* Do I need a referral from my primary care physician?
* Are there differences in reimbursement rates for in-network and out-of -network providers?
* How do I submit a claim for reimbursement for services?

Payment
​
Upon scheduling an initial visit, you will receive an invitation via email to a private confidential client portal with my practice policies/documents for your review and acknowledgement of understanding. This includes submitting your credit card or debit card information which is safely stored for your convenience. At the end of the day on which your session was held, your card will be automatically charged.

Cancellation Policy
​
If you are unable to attend a session, please be sure to cancel at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a late cancellation/no show fee. Thank you.
